I’m Joycellyn Akuffo

I am a journalist by profession with more than two decade’s experience working on some of the UK’s top publications.

As a mum of two children – who have completed and passed grammar and top independent school exams – and attend one of the best independent schools in the UK, I know what you’re going through!

As the founder of Geek School Tutoring, I bring over 20 years of professional writing experience as a journalist for publications like Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and BBC Good Homes (to name a very few!). Writing has always been my passion, and I’ve developed a proven system that helps children express themselves clearly, creatively, and confidently.

Having guided my own children through the 11 Plus process – and seen them thrive at some of the UK’s top independent schools- I know how important it is to have the right support.
